Neil Chamberlain, R.I.P.
We are very sad to announce the untimely passing of Five Points member Neil Chamberlain. Shortly after his return from training in Thailand, Neil was struck and killed by a hit-and-run driver near his home in Brooklyn. Neil has been a part of the Five Points community since long before our move from the old space, with a break while he volunteered in India as a volunteer teacher at Shanti Bhavan, a school near Bangalore for very poor children, in 2008. He was an avid student of thai boxing and an intelligent, talented young man. Our deepest sympathies to his family and friends. There will be a memorial for Neil on Sunday, May 30th at the Lafayette Bar and Grill at 54 Franklin Street, starting at 5:30 pm. Please see the reception desk for further information.
