On Saturday, May 7, PS 130 on Hester Street in Chinatown hosted a health fair. And what could be more healthy (and fun) than muay thai? FIVE POINTS had an interactive booth and mat area with souvenir glove keychains, balloons...and the chance for community kids to experience muay thai hands, elbows, knees and legs-on! Big thanks to Five Points student/fighter and PS 130 teacher Jennifer P. for suggesting our participation. Membership Rep Emily S. did an outstanding job putting everything together, with help from the always fabulous Brandice P. and ever-smiling Joie J. And FIVE POINTS INSTRUCTORS Coach Jose, Greg and Giovanny did a simply phenomenal job of entertaining and instructing the kids, with some help from FIVE POINTS Junior Muay Thai students.
